31 Oct Stephanie and Mark’s Uber Cool Wedding at The Conservatory, Franschhoek
Having shared a longstanding friendship with Stephanie and Mark, we were more than honoured that she approached us whole-heartedly and thrust all of the creative freedom we could possibly wish for into our open arms.
A stunning few days in Franschhoek lead up to truly beautiful wedding day. Towering above the outdoor ceremony was a magnificent natural green arch of which its branches swayed gently in the breeze as the couple read aloud their tear-jerking vows from handwritten pieces of parchment.
The clean white and grey glass house became transformed with industrial raw bulb lighting and stunning rose gold accents. The rustic wooden frames that adorned the guest tables were asymmetrically draped with swooping greenery – the pantone colour of the the year. Crisp white roses added a feminine touch to the centrepieces and hundreds of candles created a soft glow as the sun set over the grapevine-covered mountains that surrounded us.
We loved Steph’s quirky additions like her gourmet ice cream truck and sentimental New York skyline vinyl stickers that were plastered on the walls of the venue. It was a truly memorable day of floral design for the Splendid Team.
