It may be really chilly as winter reigns around South Africa, but for the wedding professionals this is the perfect time to work on the wedding inspirations for the upcoming wedding season. Our creative team put together an inspirational shoot to inspire brides getting married in Spring.
Blue and white is a popular colour combination that can be found throughout history. This classic color palette dates back to the ninth century, when cobalt-blue pigments were used to create motifs on white pottery and porcelain in China. During the 18th century blue and white printed fabrics began popping up. Gzhel is also the word for traditional Russian blue and white porcelain produced there since the early 19th century.
The stationery was created by Chrystalace Stationery and it is simply perfect. Gorgeous hand painted flowers create a statement contrast on a textured paper and complimented the look to perfection.
We used a combination of white porcelain with crystal vases and a selection of blue decor items to style a table that is both simple yet elegant. For flowers we used hydrengeas, roses, hyacinths and peony. The striped cloths offers a structured and masculine undertone for the soft and delicate flower composition – a perfect match to impress your guests.
MasterChef SA Seline van der Wat created a gorgeous cake for us. The square cake is a perfect fit for this styled look as the square shape represents masculine undertones which are softened with delicate sugar flowers.
The amazing Rensche Mari Photography captured our vision with her skilled and talented eye. Her photography is incredible and she has an incredible eye for detail.
Thank you everyone who put their time and effort into making this styled shoot so beautiful and inspiring!
